MichelSHANE          

 

Shane has worked with the likes of Steven Spielberg, Leonardo Di Caprio, Tom Hanks, and Will Smith and continues to work with world-class talent on his projects at various stages of development and production. 

Michel Shane is one of the motion picture industry’s premier independent producers.

 

He is managing partner of The Handpicked Company based out of Los Angeles & Montreal and has produced films in Canada, USA, India, Australia, New Zealand, Croatia, and South America. A graduate of Canada’s McGill University, Michel Shane attended law school for two years before deciding on a career in the entertainment business.

 The latest project is the adaption of the highly successful and popular children’s book The Tale of Emily Windsnap.  Academy Award-winning director Robert Stromberg is attached to direct. The property was optioned by Michel’s brother, Reid and they have joined forces to adapt the six book series into a film franchise, which tells the story of a girl that discovers she is part mermaid. Shane has forged an unusual collaborative alliance to produce an epic television series based on The Art of War by Sun Tzu. This will be the first time The Art of War has ever been done in the West as a film or TV series. Filming in historical locations throughout China and other locations. Attaching the world's leading directors to shot episodes of the epic series is in the works. Universal Television is handling International Distribution.

 

"CATCH ME IF YOU CAN" and "I. ROBOT" went on to gross nearly one billion dollars in revenue. Both films were based on material fully developed by Shane. Other producing credits include Paramount Classic’s "NORTHFORK", which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival starring James Woods, Nick Nolte, Peter Coyote and Daryl Hannah.  Film critic’s Siskel and Ebert called “One of the most important American films made in the last ten years.” In September of 2007 Hand Picked Films was engaged by Ginepri Capital - a Wall Street hedge fund - to consult on the on a $150m production fund and to oversee the financing of multiple slates of films for a five-year term.

KenDAVITIAN           

 

The character actor is perhaps best known for wrestling his way into the Hollywood spotlight as “Azamat Bagatov” in the critically-acclaimed 2006 blockbuster, “BORAT: CULTURAL LEARNINGS OF MAKE BENEFIT GLORIOUS NATION OF KAZAKHSTAN. He loves telling his audition story for the role and still fights the common believe that he has a thick accent. Born and raised in East Los Angeles, Davitian is as Angeleno as can be.

 

Davitian experienced his third consecutive feature film premiering at the top box office spot with the opening of Warner Bros. GET SMART as the TV show’s villain ‘Shtarker,’ alongside vets Steve Carell, Alan Arkin and Anne Hathaway. Davitian’s film credits consist of a long list of studio and independent productions, including MEET THE SPARTANS, S.W.A.T, HOLES, and TWC feature SOUL MEN with the late Bernie Mac, who he also 

filmed a TV pilot with.  Among his guest-starring roles on television are Chuck, The Cape, The Closer, Boston Legal, ER, Six Feet Under, Gilmore Girls and The Ghost Whisperer.

 

Davitian’s additional projects include the indie features THE PRANKSTER, MELVIN SMARTY, ISABELLA, and a short film called BALLERINO with System of a Down Bassist Shavo Odadjian. When not working in film or television, Davitian promotes education of the Armenian Genocide and supports Children’s and GLBT causes. Davitian lives in Los Angeles with his wife of 30 years, Ellen, and their two sons, Robert and Aaron. He also co-owns the Hot Dog restaurant “The Infield” in Sherman Oaks.

 

Ken Davitian found himself in an Oscar winning film in 2012, with a cameo in the black-and-white silent film THE ARTIST. First introduced to audiences at the Cannes Film Festival, it was the first film sold to The Weinstein Company and has won a total of five Academy Awards, three Golden Globe Awards and another 73 wins & 67 nominations. Davitian can currently be seen opposite Katharine McPhee, Dave Anable and Kathy Bates in the action packed romantic comedy YOU MAY NOT KISS THE BRIDE. Up next are films Melvin Smarty and Shark Proof, both releasing in 2013.

BarryBOSTWICK

From his portrayal of the quintessential all American Brad Majors in “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” to the hilarious Mayor Randall Winston on ABC’s “Spin City”, Barry Bostwick has had quite a career spanning all genres and mediums of show business.

 

He attended N.Y.U.’s Graduate School of the Arts and made his Broadway debut soon thereafter with the APA Phoenix Repertory Company Barry had starring roles in many highly acclaimed TV, Film & Miniseries. As George Washington in Peabody Award winning CBS mini series “George WAshinton”. Golden Globe for

Lt. “Lady Aster of “War & Remembrance”. Also starred in Moviola, Deceptions, Woman of substance, Murder by Natural Causes, Betrayed by innocence, and recently Cougartown, just to name a few. In the past 12 monthes Barry has completed 9 features.

 

Barry Bostwick resides with his wife Sherri Ellen and their two children, Brian and Chelsea in the canyons above Malibu. Barry is an accomplished ceramic artist. His work has been displayed in prominent galleries and he gives many of his pieces away to various charities around the country.

StanLIVINGSTON

As an actor, Stanley Livingston has delighted audiences for over 50 years as one of the stars of television’s second-longest running situation comedy, “MY THREE SONS“. The beloved television series has been in continuous broadcast for an incredible 53 years! ”My Three Sons” airs daily on the ME-TV Network.

 

Stan’s other work is behind the camera where he has produced and/or directed everything from documentaries (“THE ACTOR’S JOURNEY“, “THE ACTOR’S JOURNEY FOR KIDS“) to music videos to PBS/APT television programming for children (“CORY’S CIRCUS“) to feature films (“CHECKERS“). Stan has worked as a writer, editor and cinematographer as well. Stan recently produced and starred in “IN THE PICTURE” – the first 3-Strip 35mm CINERAMA Process film made in over 50 years! ”In The Picture” 

kicked off the 2012 Cinerama Film Festival at the historic Arclight Cinerama Dome in Hollywood. The film received a rave review from esteemed film critic, Leonard Maltin. As a footnote… Stan was one of the stars of the last Cinerama feature films made fifty years ago… the iconic western “HOW THE WEST WAS WON“. Stan is currently involved in developing new film projects
