Maria is a Certified & is professionally trained Film Festival Director in [2009] IFFS - trained under (Artistic Director Carl Spence - Seattle Film Festival) ( Founder Mark Fishkin - Mill Valley Film Festival/California Film Institute ), ( Executive Director -the Late Graham Leggat - San Francisco Film Festival/San Francisco Film Society), ( IM Global - Bonnie Voland - Int'L Marketing/Publicity).
Maria started her 1st Festival online in 2008 which later developed to become the Vegas CineFest and now The Hollywood CineFest. Maria has over 18 years experience volunteering, working and organizing Film Festivals.
Maria has volunteered at Film Festivals since 1998. She attends The Lucy & Crystal Awards,The Cannes Film Festival, American Film Market, IFFS, CES, NAB & NAPTE. She is the founder of The Script Awards , She is the Co Founder and Partner/CEO for The International Vegas Cine Fest Awards of Las Vegas. Co Founder and Partner/CEO for Put on Productions. Partner/CEO of Lotus Media Entertainment & VP of HD1Cam.

Maria’s introduction into show business began as a Producer for commercials. Maria’s background in the television and film industry includes positions in virtually every aspect of the production process, including producer, production coordinator in crew, casting. and acting. She has coordinated crew for reality shows produced by MTV, Mark Burnett Productions, Indie Filmmakers & Producers in Hollywood and World Wide. She is also a member of Screen Actors Guild Union. She has over 25 years experience in the Entertainment Industry.

Philip Marcus was raised in Paris, France & studied Film School at the prestigious “Columbia College / American Film Institute” at The Greystone Mansion in Los Angeles, comprising an array of experience ranging from Filmmaking skills to cutting edge production knowledge and international business relations, thus making him one of the most avant guard award winning independent producer/director in Hollywood.
Philip has worked in every aspect of Production which includes Producer, Director, Director of Photography, Cinematography, Managing in every medium from TV, Feature Films, Commercials and Documentaries for the French, Canadian & US Networks, and Top Record labels. Philip has lensed, produced and directed, over 85 music videos for a plethora of Major Artists and Rock Bands.
Philip was responsible for managing the production of Indie films such as, “VIPERS,” “SQUEEZE PLAY,” “UNDER ONE FLAG,” “THE TURNING,” “SINGLES.” “BLOODY MADONNA,” “TAKEN ALIVE,” and MIKE TYSON'S "UNDISPUTED TRUTH" Directed by Philip.
Currently in development, Philip is slated to direct "TROMPE L'OEIL" a feature to be shot in Cannes, France
